3. Writing to the Washington County School of a complete application and attachments for each location of interest.
4. List the "Track #," announcement number(s), of the positions you are interested in at the top of your application.
5. All applicants are subject to a Criminal Background Check.
6. Applications must include (a) a completed application, resume (with available transcripts for certified positions), (b) letters of recommendation and references, and (c) a completed supplemental questionnaire (available from the District Office).
7. IF APPLYING FOR A CERTIFIED TEACHER POSITION: The following documents must be on file at the State Office of Education prior to the first contract day: (a) Utah Teaching/Administrative Certificate, and (b) an official, certified copy of transcripts.
8. An "In-District Transfer" applies only to provisional or career employees that are eligible for reassignment at their current salary rate. Temporary, intern, substitute, one-year only and all other District employees who are interested in "promotion" (moving to a position that would result in a salary increase) are not eligible for in-District transfer consideration and must compete for assignment by submitting an application in accordance with the terms of this announcement.
   
   To be eligible for In-District transfer you must:
   • be a current career or provisional status employee,
   • occupy a position at the same or higher salary level as the announced position,
   • have two years of successful teaching experience in your current assignment, or three years or more in a classified position assignment,
   • apply prior to July 1st preceding the contract year in which you would like to transfer (employees are not eligible for in-District transfer during the contract year), and
   • contact the principal directly to set up an interview. Reference District Policy 1100.
